  1. I have three agency locations; may I list all three in FindLocalAgents.com?
Yes, by all means. We encourage you to do that, so that those consumers searching their local area may find your agency.

  2. Can I list my insurance agency even though I don't have a Web site?
Yes. At this time, it's not entirely necessary to have a web site to be listed at FindLocalAgents.com; but you should then be sure to include as much other contact information as possible.

  3. I am an insurance agent, searching for useful, timely information about the insurance industry -- such as risk management, insurance agency management, textbooks for certification exams, government programs, etc? Can you help?
Yes. Why not visit the Agents' Bookstore? We try to provide a wide array of books of the type that you mention, in order to make your visit to FindLocalAgents.com the single stop that meets your needs. In fact, if you are seeking a resource that you don't find here, please contact us. We will do our best to assist.

  4. If I list my insurance agency with FindLocalAgents.com, will I automatically receive your newsletter?
You will only receive the newsletter if you opt-in to do so; and then you may unsubscribe at any time thereafter.

  5. Does it matter in which state my agency is located?
No. Consumers use FindLocalAgents.com to search for local agents throughout the United States; so, every U.S. state is represented.

  6. Are there many listings from each state at FindLocalAgents.com?
The number of listings per state varies. However, more and more agencies are being listed each week, so consumers are increasingly likely to find local insurance agents as time goes on.

  7. My agency carries insurance types that your database does not show. Is it possible to get those listed as well?
We are always open to adding other insurance types when there is a need. Just contact us after you have listed your insurance agency to tell us what insurance type(s) you'd like added, and our editors will consider your request as soon as possible.

  8. May I change my listing later, if I choose to do so?
Yes. You may modify your listing at any time using your unique user name and password (assigned when you register your agency.)

  9. I just submitted my listing, but my agency is still not showing when I search. What did I do wrong?
It is likely that you did nothing wrong. New listing submissions must be first reviewed and approved by our editors before being published for searching. This process can take a few days. So, check back soon to search for your listed insurance agency.

  10. I've searched FindLocalAgents.com and I see that most agencies have a web site listed. I don't have a web site and doubt that I need one. Is there a way to, instead, include a link from my listing to a brief description screen?
Yes. We can help you with that. Although you might not need a full-blown web site, having at least a minimal web presence as you describe is quickly becoming a necessity for insurance agencies. Just click here to email us about a "Web Introduction Page". We will be in touch to follow up on your request as soon as we can.

  11. How often does the Virtual Agent News (newsletter) go our to subscribers?
The distribution schedule of our newsletter to subscribed insurance agents is variable. We send an issue when we have good, timely and relevant information to convey to you. At FindLocalAgents.com, we don't believe in burdening you with still another newsletter in your e-mail box if there is no real news to convey.
